Weeks

Last week: Air conditioning broke on our trip down to Nags Head, making our 7 hour trip back in stop-go traffic the weirdest I’ve experienced. I’ve never been that dehydrated, had a mini bulldog panting in backseat, and been that miserable.

This week: On our way to work, Abby and I make fun of sleeping guy on metro, his arms crossed, holding iphone in one hand, making it look like he was nursing it.

Last week: An elephant in a room full of silly putty.

This week: An elegant, enrobed fool in silly putty.

Last week: New job. Govt. contractor job where govt. didn’t even know I was hired, and govt coworkers didn’t know why I was hired because contractor was going to lose job in a month.

This week: New new job. Fooseball. All the coworkers shake my hand and ask me my name and smile and seem interesting and happy to be there. Yay.

Last week: Sideways glances while spelunking.

This week: Highways dancing with Tim Duncan.

Last week: No poems published.

This week: Six published by end of Friday.

Last week: Nay.

This week: Sigh.
